This is a part-time role. Shifts are scheduled within these time slots only: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3–7 PM + Saturday 10 AM–4 PM.

What is Steamoji?
Steamoji is one of the most advanced maker academies of its kind — a place where kids don't just learn about technology, they build with it. We immerse apprentices in real fabrication, robotics, physical computing, engineering and digital arts using professional-grade tools most schools can't touch, all while building the soft skills that matter: design thinking, growth mindset and entrepreneurship. The gear you'll get your hands on
This isn't glue-and-popsicle-sticks STEM. Our apprentices work with:

- 3D printers and 3D design software
- Robotics and physical computing — including advanced platforms like collaborative robotic arms and programmable drones
- Coding and game design
- Digital arts, animation and graphics

If you're the kind of person who reads spec sheets for fun and wants to actually use this stuff, you'll be right at home.

Who we're looking for
A friendly, high-energy facilitator who loves tech and loves sharing it. You get genuinely excited about coding, 3D printing, robotics and game design — and you want to pass that spark to the next generation.



Bonus if you've mentored youth or worked with kids before.

The team
Everyone here is on the same wavelength — a small crew of people who experiment for the love of it. The kind who'll ask "why don't we spin up our own server?" or "how do we get these printers running twice as quick?" just because the idea is too fun not to chase. You won't be the only nerd in the room. You'll be surrounded by them.

Responsibilities

- Deliver the Steamoji curriculum during sessions
- Review instructional videos before each session
- Work with 4–6 apprentices to complete their missions
- Guide apprentices through the making process
- Support apprentices with tools and equipment, ensuring safety throughout
- Create and share video artifacts and give feedback to parents
