Our client is currently looking for a Switchgear Assembly Technician to join their team in Acheson, AB.

Responsibilities:

- Build and assemble mechanical components for switchgear units.
- Assemble switchgear units as per drawings and instructions.
- Identify and repair discrepancies in switchgear units to ensure quality and functionality.
- Promote and uphold a strong safety culture, including attending all safety meetings.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly workplace.




- Experience with switchgear units an asset.
- Ability to read and convert measurements (fraction to decimal, metric to imperial).
- Knowledge of tools, machines, and their maintenance.
- Safety training certificates are an asset.
