YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Near Surface Supervisor, you will be part of the Near Surface Department. You will provide support; including,



mucking/remote mucking with scoops, operating UG Trucks, and assisting with nipping materials. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the workplace.

- Completed & ongoing competence with required core modules:

- Occasionally Blasting oversize rock, Operate Scoop, extend services, Operate Utility Vehicle;

- Training. Per the KLG Underground Mining Classification Guideline;

- Competently to perform all UG Truck, UG Scoops, Utility vehicles;

- Demonstrate competence in relevant UG Hardrock common core;

- Housekeeping – keep work areas and equipment clean free from hazards;

- Perform equipment pre-operational verifications;

- Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on zero harm 5 point card, aligning with daily tasks;

- Teamwork – work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by Supervisor;

- Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent;

- Physically Fit, self-starter with can do attitude;

- Tolerance for hot, cold and humid environments;

- Demonstrated Safety awareness;

- Literacy and Numeracy to minimum year/grade 10;

- UG Common Core (Ontario);

- UG Mining Knowledge and experience (Miner 4 for at least 3 years);

- Similar role type experience in another operation.

Compensation Statement

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
