We are currently seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our dynamic and versatile team for year-round and seasonal work.

Position Summary:
This position involves operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators (hoe), loaders, dozers, and skid steers, in support of our civil construction projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong safety mindset, the ability to work in variable site conditions, and experience with underground utilities and excavation work.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Hourly Wage: $28.00 – $42.00, based on experience
- Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half for any hours worked over 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week
- Travel Allowance available for candidates commuting from outside the Bow Valley

Work Schedule:

- 40–55+ hours per week
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
- Day shifts only

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment (excavator, loader, dozer, skid steer) safely and efficiently
- Complete roadwork, excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks




- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain detailed checklists
- Safely operate in proximity to crews, underground utilities, and public spaces
- Clean, fuel, lubricate, and maintain assigned equipment
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management or mechanics
- Respond to site signals and coordinate closely with other team members
- Follow site-specific safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first culture

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- CSA-approved safety boots (mandatory)
- WHMIS and CSTS certification (or willingness to obtain – training provided)
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Strong understanding of equipment operation in varying ground conditions
- Familiarity with rigging procedures is an asset
- Ability to work independently and within a team
