We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and service-oriented Superintendent and Building Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a residential property in Mississauga.

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the successful candidate(s) will play an important role in maintaining the property, responding to resident needs, and ensuring the building and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard.

Looking for candidates who work well together, take pride in maintaining a residential community, and are comfortable balancing hands-on maintenance responsibilities with resident service and after-hours support.

What will you be doing?

Working collaboratively, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and day-to-day maintenance of the property. Responsibilities will include:

- Proactively identifying and addressing maintenance and cleanliness concerns throughout building common areas and the property;
- Completing minor repairs, including drywall and plaster repairs, basic plumbing, light carpentry, door and lock repairs, and light fixture or bulb replacement;
- Responding to in-suite maintenance requests and work orders as assigned through Yardi;
- Maintaining garbage rooms, bins and other designated areas, including periodic deep cleaning;
- Assisting with seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal and light landscaping;
- Supporting pool testing and routine maintenance, where applicable;
- Conducting daily inspections of mechanical systems and physical areas of the property and maintaining accurate daily logs;
- Identifying deficiencies, required capital repairs, and opportunities to reduce recurring maintenance issues;
- Monitoring work completed by third-party contractors and reporting deficiencies to management;
- Supporting building inspections, special projects, and other property-related requirements as needed; and
- Participating in a scheduled rotational on-call program to respond to building emergencies, including floods,



fires, loss of heat or water, or other urgent situations.

What experience will you bring?

The ideal candidates are hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable working in an occupied residential environment. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, you will regularly interact with residents, contractors, and property management.

The successful candidates will ideally have:

- 2–3 years of property maintenance or superintendent experience, preferably within a residential high-rise environment;
- Solid general maintenance and troubleshooting abilities;
- Experience completing minor repairs and preventative maintenance;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills;
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities;
- The ability to respond appropriately and professionally to resident concerns and building emergencies; and
- Experience with Yardi Property Management Software or a similar property management/work-order system considered an asset.
