Duties

- Coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo loading/unloading schedules to maximize port efficiency
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and cargo manifests
- Communicate effectively with port authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee cargo rigging procedures, ensuring proper securing and safety compliance during loading and unloading




- Monitor shipment progress throughout transit, providing updates and resolving any logistical issues promptly
- Maintain detailed records of shipments, inspections, and operational activities for compliance and reporting purposes

Requirements

- Proven experience in maritime shipping or logistics coordination with a focus on cargo operations
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders in the maritime industry
- Ability to interpret technical documents and shipping regulations accurately
- Organized with keen attention to detail for managing documentation and operational records
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining safety standards at all times
