Withey Addison LLP is a ‎firm of accounting professionals providing assurance, taxation and general business advisory services to our diversified client base. Based on continued growth, we are looking to add the following position to our team:

Staff Accountant

· Develop technical skills in areas including compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax

· Perform control testing and walk-through audit testing with clients in a skilled manner

· Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, statement of retained earnings, statement of cash flows, and other relevant reports

· Set-up new client files including chart of accounts

· Prepare corporate and personal tax returns

· Work collaboratively within a team, including working closely with senior staff and partners

Your qualifications and experience should include:





· Working towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting major is preferred)

· Enrolled as a CPA student with CPA Ontario

· Experience in a public accounting firm is considered an asset

· Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset (Caseware, Caseview, Quickbooks, Sage)

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Strong teamwork skills

We are looking for an individual with professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Salary will be based on experience and education.
