At My Storage, our Facility Maintenance Associates are responsible for the physical condition, safety, and presentation of our facilities. This is a maintenance-first, hands-on role focused on keeping our sites operating at a high standard while also delivering a qualified and positive customer experience on site.

You will be the person physically present on the property, ensuring the facility is well maintained while supporting customers with basic needs and upholding My Storage’s service standards.

This role is similar to a property superintendent-style position, ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working independently across multiple locations.

Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay: $20/hour

Performance Incentives Include:

- Maintenance bonuses: $50–$200+ per pay period based on task output and complexity
- 10% commission on walk in reservations and facility-related charges (damages, dumping, cancellations, tailgating, etc.)

Core Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and customer experience on site, including:

- Completing routine site checks across GTA locations




- Performing basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping)
- Maintaining units, doors, motors, tracks, and remotes
- Sweeping halls and units, garbage removal, mopping, and general site cleanliness
- Identifying and addressing facility issues, damages, and safety concerns
- Assisting customers on site with basic inquiries, payments, and move-ins
- Completing daily and weekly maintenance reports
- Traveling between sites for projects and site checks

This is a mobile, physical role and not a desk-based position.

Requirements

- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Professional and discreet at all times
- Comfortable working independently
- Physically capable of completing maintenance tasks
- Strong communication and basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Flexible availability, including weekends
