Duties

- Prepare fresh food items such as wraps, salads, baked goods, and other cafe offerings with precision and care.
- Craft high-quality coffee beverages and specialty drinks as per standard recipes, ensuring consistency and presentation.
- Doing dishes and clearing tables
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems and Touch Bistro, accurately handling transactions, cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, back room and dining area depending upon shift, maintain proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in serving customers at the counter, providing friendly and attentive customer service that exceeds expectations.




- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely food prep and beverage service without compromising quality.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels or equipment issues.
- Previous experience working as a barista or in the food industry is highly preferred; familiarity with food preparation is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems or similar platforms confidently.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- We require food protected level 1 or the ability to obtain within your first month on employment

Above all, we are looking for 1 full time or 2 part time employees to come join our fantastic team. The right individual shows up on time for shifts, likes to cook and knows their way around a kitchen and is flexible with shifts and within the shift, we are a small cafe!

You must have reliable transportation to downtown Kamloops. We staff the cafe Monday to Saturday from 6am to 8 pm although we have many different shifts within those hours.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
