We are looking for a energetic individual with a strong customer service background to join our team of Support Workers. The Support Worker position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to perform general administrative tasks, customer service work, and set-up workstations.

Responsibilities:

- Listening and observing people in order to assess their needs.
- Providing support and assistance to people.
- Offering emotional support, friendly companionship, and reassurance to people during a difficult time.
- Providing information related to social services and resources to people.
- Helping people learn new skills, fulfill their potential, and maintain independence.
- Offering an empathetic ear to residents.
- Helping people develop their independence through planned activities.

Must Have:

- 3 Doses of covid Vaccine
- PSW Certificate
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- First Aid/ CPR
- Reliability to commute
- Willing to travel 100Kms around kingston

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
