Description:

Newark Brewing Company is looking for a passionate individual to be part of our team. Experience is an asset but not mandatory. Training will be provided to candidates who are eager to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Focusing on sourcing ingredients from local producers and creating dishes that complement the line-up of our craft beers. Duties and responsibilities:

- Reports directly to Head Chef

- Basic and advanced knife skills (chopping, slicing, carving)

- Use of kitchen equipment (ovens, deep fryers, range)

- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment

- Washing dishes

- Opening and closing kitchen

- Preparing, storing, and executing designated dishes on the menu

- Maintaining garbage and waste

-Sweeping and mopping





-Following health and safety protocols at all times

Core Skills

- Must be punctual
- adaptable to work evening, weekends and holidays as the need arises
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Attention to detail

Certifications

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Beamsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
