Hours: Hours may be irregular and in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, work outside of ordinary working hours (including weekends and holidays) may be required

Wage: $17.00/hour

Galaxy Processing is the largest distribution center of The Star Group – the name really speaks for itself! This 200,000 sq. ft. facility, with over 30,000 sq. ft. of cooler space, has state of the art sorting lines, multiple packing machines, and superior conditioning rooms. Key Accountabilities

- Job involves stacking boxes (35lb to 50lbs) on to a pallet, wrapping the pallet, cleaning up grading area, unstacking boxes on pallets.
- Make boxes out of flat cardboard.
- Must comply with food safety regulations.

Education and Experience

- Previous experience in produce industry is preferred

Working Conditions

- Hours may be irregular and in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
- Work outside ordinary/scheduled shifts may be required with occasional overtime




- Work is conducted indoors in a warehouse environment and can be subject to variable conditions (noise, temperature, etc.)

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to do frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50lbs for an entire shift
- Work in cooler workplace
- Prolonged periods of standing
