Commercial Service. Hydronics. Troubleshooting.

Reggin Technical Services is looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our Calgary Commercial Service team.

If you're an experienced service plumber who enjoys troubleshooting, hydronics and solving mechanical problems, this is the position we're looking to fill.

This isn't a residential service position and it isn't repetitive construction work. You'll work on a wide variety of commercial and high-rise residential buildings, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining plumbing and mechanical systems while working directly with building operators, property managers and our other mechanical trades.

We're particularly interested in Journeymen with strong commercial service and hydronic heating experience who want to continue developing their technical skills.

What You'll Work On

Our Commercial Service Plumbers work on a broad range of plumbing, heating and mechanical systems, including:

· Commercial boiler plants and hydronic heating systems

· Pumps, valves, heat exchangers and expansion systems

· Hydronic distribution and heating equipment

· Domestic water systems

· Sanitary and storm drainage systems

· Commercial plumbing fixtures and equipment

· Mechanical rooms and building mechanical systems

· System shutdowns, repairs and replacements

· Plumbing and heating system troubleshooting

· Preventative maintenance and system inspections

The work varies from day to day. One call may involve diagnosing a hydronic heating problem; the next may involve a commercial plumbing repair, mechanical-room issue, system shutdown or equipment replacement.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a commercial service plumber, not simply someone with a Journeyman ticket.

The successful candidate will have:

- Valid Alberta Journeyman Plumber certification or recognized Red Seal certification
- Commercial service plumbing experience




- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing and mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of hydronic heating systems
- Experience working with commercial boiler and mechanical rooms
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and commercial systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Professional communication skills when dealing with clients, building operators and property managers
- Valid driver's licence

Gasfitter certification and additional hydronic or mechanical-system experience are considered assets.
