Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and presentation standards
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure visual appeal
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food packaging efficiently for takeout or display purposes while ensuring product quality
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by contributing to overall food production and service




- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and minimize waste

Skills

- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with guests when needed
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
- Familiarity with packaging methods for baked goods to ensure freshness and presentation

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
