About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility is sewing boat covers and boat storage covers using heavy-duty coated polyester/tarp fabric.

Responsibilities

- Operate Juki industrial sewing machines
- Sew boat covers and boat storage covers
- Work with heavy, coated polyester/tarp fabric
- Install and sew YKK marine zippers
- Perform fabric layout when required
- Follow measurements, patterns, and production instructions
- Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the sewing process

Requirements

- Previous sewing experience is required
- Must be comfortable operating an industrial sewing machine
- Experience sewing heavy-duty fabrics is strongly preferred
- Must be able to sew independently and produce clean, consistent stitching
- Experience with boat covers, tarps, marine fabrics, or similar materials is an asset




- This is not a clothing/seamstress position — experience with lightweight fabrics or clothing alone is not suitable
- Ability to handle heavy coated polyester material

Working Hours & Breaks

- Monday to Friday: 7:15 AM – 3:00 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
- 15-minute paid morning break

Compensation

- Starting wage: $18.00/hour
- Chance for a suitable, experienced candidate
