Maintenance / Cleaner – Part-Time
Location: Bowmanville, ON
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance / Cleaner to join our team at a residential property in Bowmanville. This position combines routine cleaning with light maintenance tasks to ensure the building remains clean, safe, and well maintained for residents.
Schedule
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain building common areas including hallways, lobby, party room, and shared spaces
- Clean and sanitize public washrooms
- Remove garbage and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
- Perform light maintenance duties including:
- Changing light bulbs
- Minor toilet repairs
- Basic building upkeep tasks
- Assist with removal or moving of appliances when required
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Litter pickup at the plaza next door 2xW
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to perform light repairs and basic maintenance tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift and move appliances or heavier items when required
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
