Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cross Border Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage long hours on the road.

Responsibilities

- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods over long distances, often across state lines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of freight, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.




- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while taking required breaks as mandated by law.

Skills

- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Experience in freight transportation, with knowledge of logistics and routing.
- Strong automotive repair skills for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the vehicle.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations on the road.
