Restaurant Team Member – Kitchen & Front Counter

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Pickle & Proof is a new contemporary Vietnamese fast-casual restaurant specializing in fresh-baked bánh mì, broken rice bowls and Vietnamese-inspired dishes.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking team members to join our opening team. This is a hands-on position where team members may work across food preparation, kitchen, order assembly and front counter service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and food according to recipes and portion standards
- Assemble bánh mì, rice bowls and other menu items
- Operate ovens, blenders and other kitchen equipment as trained
- Take customer orders and operate POS/cashier station
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Restock ingredients, packaging and supplies
- Follow food safety, sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work efficiently with the team during busy service periods

What We're Looking For

- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Able to work quickly in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to follow recipes, portioning and operating procedures consistently




- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 30–40 lbs when required

Availability

We are hiring for part-time positions.

Morning, daytime, evening and weekend availability may be required.

Preference will be given to candidates with flexible availability.
