Job Description: Our client is a well-established manufacturing company specializing in the production of industrial and transportation storage solutions. They are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead afternoon shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will have prior supervisory experience within a plastic injection moulding facility and a proven ability to lead production teams, drive efficiency, maintain quality standards, and promote a strong safety culture.

Job Location: Pickering, ON (East End GTA)

Job Type: Full-time, permanent direct hire

Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 an hour

Shift Structure: Evening Shift – Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and support production employees during the afternoon shift.

· Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.

· Monitor production output and address operational issues in a timely manner.

· Lead, coach, and develop production staff to maximize performance and engagement.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

· Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals and expectations.

· Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Management teams to resolve production challenges.

· Monitor machine performance and workflow efficiency within the plastic injection moulding operation.

· Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management activities.

· Maintain accurate production records and reporting requirements.





· Promote continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce downtime.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in a plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment is required.

· Experience within plastics manufacturing, industrial products, tanks, containers, or related fabrication environments is considered an asset.

· Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.

· Forklift certification considered an asset.

· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems.

· Demonstrated leadership experience supervising production teams.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.

· Experience with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

· Must be able to work afternoon shift hours and occasional weekends.

· Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the east end of the GTA.

· Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical environments is an asset

Working Conditions

- Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to production equipment and machinery.
- PPE required, including safety boots and hearing protection (ear muffs). Candidates are encouraged to bring their own PPE where available.
- Standing, walking, and monitoring production operations throughout the shift.
