· Greet walk-ins, route phones calls and general emails
· Coordinate daily mail
· Scheduling
· Clerical duties including payment processing and bank deposits
· Program support for other departments
· Office open and close
· Monitor and maintain office equipment, supplies and space
· Point of contact for in house volunteers
· Provide information to appropriate Foundation employees to further relationships with donors
· Track all donor interactions in the donor database software.
· Complete timely gift acknowledgement and donor recognition using the donor recognition policy.
Other Duties:
· Protect Foundation operations by keeping information confidential
· Adhere to the AHP & AFP Code of Ethics & Donor Bill of Rights
· Assist at Foundation events as required
Qualifications, skills and attributes
- High School Diploma
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent written and oral skills
· Strong teamwork ability
· Absolute accuracy and attention to detail
· Complete confidentiality and discretion, sound judgement
· Basic level accounting an asset
· Ability to troubleshoot problems
· Take pride in doing a good job, high commitment to quality
· Ability to multitask
Work Environment
Work in an office with occasional local travel for events within and outside of regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm; lunch from 11:30am to 12:00pm). The Foundation office is a qualified working environment, with appropriate professional attire and attitude an expectation at all times. Work outside the normal business day and on weekends during event campaigns should be expected and is a requisite of the position.
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
