Job Summary

The Part-Time Cashier plays a critical role in the final step of our customer's journey, acting as the friendly face and lasting impression of our store. This is a hands-on, customer-centric role focused on providing efficient, accurate, and welcoming service at the checkout.

This is a dynamic time to join our team, as we are looking for reliable individuals who can commit to help us keep our front-end running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service: Greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and providing a positive checkout experience.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately scanning items, processing various payment types (cash, debit, credit, gift cards), and handling cash drawers with precision.
- Bagging & Organization: Carefully bagging items according to customer preferences and keeping the checkout lanes clean, tidy, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Loss Prevention Awareness: Ensuring all items are scanned accurately and maintaining awareness of the front-end environment.

Schedule & Availability:

This is a part-time position (approx. 24 hours per week). To be considered, candidates must be flexible and available for shifts Monday through Sunday up until 10pm.

Requirements / Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling money and scanning products.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to meet physical job demands,



including prolonged standing, repetitive lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is considered an asset (training provided).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma considered an asset.
