We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector – Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting CNC-manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications before being shipped to clients. This role involves using precision measuring equipment, coordinating parts through a measuring machine, and identifying any quality issues before products leave the facility. Prior experience with CNC machining, milling, or lathe operations is considered an asset.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Location: Tillsonburg, ON

Shift Schedule

- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM; Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

- Inspect CNC-manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Use precision measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to verify part dimensions.
- Coordinate and operate the measuring machine to accurately inspect manufactured components.
- Review measurement results and identify any parts that do not meet required specifications.
- Perform quality checks prior to parts being packaged and shipped to clients.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and dimensional specifications.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.




- Communicate quality issues and discrepancies to the appropriate production team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.
- Support the shipping process by ensuring inspected and approved parts are properly prepared for delivery.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Prior milling and lathe experience is considered an asset.
- CNC machine experience is considered an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of dimensional measurements.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to successfully complete a Controlled Goods assessment and police background check.
