PERFECT X HAIR is a luxury Korean hair salon with 4 locations across Toronto. We specialize in modern Asian hairstyling and are known for combining high-quality technical work with an upscale, client-focused salon experience.

As our brand continues to grow, we are looking for experienced hairstylists who specialize in cutting, colouring, perming, and styling Asian hair to join our team.

We welcome experienced stylists from all backgrounds who have a strong understanding of Asian hair textures, styles, and techniques.

Responsibilities

As a Hairstylist at PERFECT X HAIR, you will be responsible for:

- Providing a full range of professional hair services, including haircuts, styling, colouring, bleaching, perms, straightening, and hair treatments
- Conducting thorough consultations to understand each client's desired look, hair condition, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences
- Recommending appropriate services, treatments, and home-care products based on each client's individual needs
- Creating modern hairstyles while maintaining strong technical standards and attention to detail
- Staying current with the latest Korean, Asian, and international hair trends, techniques, products, and styling methods
- Providing a consistently high level of customer service throughout the client's entire salon experience
- Educating clients on proper styling techniques, maintenance, and aftercare
- Developing long-term relationships with clients and building a strong, loyal client base

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

- 5+ years of professional hairstyling experience
- Strong technical skills in haircutting and styling, particularly with Asian hair
- Experience with chemical services such as colouring, bleaching, perms, and straightening is strongly preferred
- Strong consultation and customer service skills
- A professional, positive, and client-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented salon environment
- Basic English communication skills





Korean language ability is an asset but is not required.

We are open to hiring hairstylists of any background or nationality who have strong experience and expertise working with Asian hair.

- Yonge & Sheppard (4750 Yonge St Unit 124-126)
- Yonge & Empress (5195B Yonge St)

Full-time and flexible scheduling opportunities may be available depending on the location.
