Duties

- Lead and supervise salon staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve their full potential
- Oversee scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
- Manage retail merchandising, product placement, and inventory to boost sales and maintain a visually appealing salon environment
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones through community outreach and promotional events
- Monitor store performance metrics, including sales targets, budgeting, and financial reports to ensure profitability
- Maintain excellent communication with clients through phone etiquette and personalized service to foster loyalty




- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while supervising daily operations
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team meetings to promote continuous improvement

Qualifications

- Licensed Hairstylist
- Proven supervising or management experience within a retail or salon environment with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Demonstrated expertise in retail sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff members
- Knowledge of budgeting practices along with math skills necessary for financial accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette proficiency
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors or suppliers for purchasing needs
- Organizational skills necessary for inventory management and store operations oversight

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
