Helpers – Surface & Underground Diamond Drilling

Corexplore Drilling Services Corporation., is seeking experienced and motivated Drilling Helpers to support our underground diamond drilling operations. This is a long-term opportunity for individuals who thrive in physically demanding environments and are committed to safety and teamwork.

Target Start Date and Duration: The positions are long term and available immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Drilling Helper, you will support safe and effective drilling operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Complete a pre-operational checklist for the equipment at the start of every shift
- Assist the operator in the lowering and pulling of drill rods
- Prepare core recovered during shift for delivery to the client ensuring that it well-placed, labeled and uncontaminated
- Prepare core tube assemblies between runs
- Assist with moves,



set-ups and tear downs of drill set-ups
- Clean and store equipment, tools, spare parts and materials in its proper place
- Keep a neat and orderly worksite, free of garbage and tripping hazards

Required Training and Qualifications

· WHMIS 2015

· Working at Heights Training

· Valid First Aid and CPR

· Underground Diamond Drilling Common Core (or equivalent)

· Minimum of 1 year experience as a Helper on Underground core drill rigs.

· Valid Driver’s License

· Pre-Access Medical, Drug and Alcohol Testing

· Criminal Record Check
