Role description

Data Analyst cum Business Analyst for the SWP projects within the City National Bank CNR Wealth data program The role bridges business and engineering translating wealthmanagement data requirements into clear buildable specifications and validating the data delivered through Azure Synapse pipelines into Salesforce You will work directly with client stakeholders and the offshore development and QA teams in a fastpaced Agile release cycle

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

Elicit analyse and document business and data requirements from CNR wealth stakeholders convert them into clear user stories with welldefined acceptance criteria

Own the product backlog hygiene in JIRA Azure DevOps grooming prioritisation story splitting and maintaining Definition of Ready DoR and Definition of Done DoD

Facilitate and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies sprint planning daily standups backlog refinement reviews and retrospectives

Act as the liaison between client business teams development and QA resolving requirement clarifications within agreed SLAs and managing scopechange discussions

Data Analysis

Write and optimise SQL to profile analyse and reconcile sourcetotarget data across DataHub Snowflake and Salesforce

Prepare and validate sourcetotarget mapping STTM documents and derivationbusiness rules eg deriving Contact attributes from only active financial accounts

Perform data validation and reconciliation to support UAT for each release identify log and drive resolution of data defects

Analyse Synapse pipeline outputs and support enhancements such as filesource and configuration changes ensuring data quality and completeness

Delivery Governance

Support release planning and track deliverables through UAT and production deployment coordinating with onsite leads and the client delivery lead

Maintain requirement traceability documentation and status reporting flag risks blockers and dependencies early

Contribute to monthonmonth productivity improvement and adherence to CNB delivery changemanagement and quality processes

Required Skills Experience

Strong SQL handson querying data profiling reconciliation and analysis across relational and cloud data platforms

Scrum Agile BA expertise proven experience writing user stories acceptance criteria and managing backlogs in JIRA Azure DevOps

Dual DABA capability able to both analyse data directly and translate business needs into technical specifications





Data integration understanding exposure to ETLELT concepts sourcetotarget mapping and data validation Azure Synapse Data Factory familiarity is an advantage

Communication clear written and verbal skills to engage USbased client stakeholders directly and confidently

Ownership a selfdriven quick learner who can lead analysis independently and mentor junior team members

Preferred Good to Have

Wealthmanagement capitalmarkets domain understanding of financial advisors portfolios custodians brokers and financialaccount structures

Salesforce data model exposure Contact Account objects and CRM data flows

Cloud data platforms Snowflake Azure Synapse ADF Function Apps

Banking financialservices delivery experience with an appreciation for data governance and compliance

Skills
Mandatory Skills : Cognos Analytics, MS Excel, PowerBI, Python for DATA, Tableau

Benefits
Compensation range: $136,000.00 to $149,000.00 per year
