Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Flooring Installer to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials in commercial settings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Duties

- Prepare work areas by measuring, marking, and setting up tools and materials for installation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise installation
- Install various types of flooring including tile, vinyl, laminate, and carpet using appropriate techniques and tools
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, trowels, and levels to execute installations accurately
- Perform surface preparation tasks like subfloor leveling, cleaning, and sealing to ensure optimal adhesion
- Apply caulking and sealants to joints and edges for a finished look and enhanced durability




- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards while maintaining safety protocols

Qualifications

- Proven experience with flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction work
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in flooring projects
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings
- Background in carpentry or handyman work is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including caulking and sealing processes
- Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Construction experience that demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
