Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Homecare Mobility Technician to sell, deliver, install, service, and repair mobility, accessibility, and oxygen equipment. You will support clients and caregivers in their homes while coordinating with occupational therapists, vendors, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobility Sales & Client Support

· Assess client needs, recommend suitable mobility products, and prepare quotes.

· Provide responsive sales, front-counter, telephone, and after-sales support.

· Work with occupational therapists and complete in office equipment assessments.

Equipment Service, Installation & Delivery

· Inspect, troubleshoot, clean, repair, deliver, and set up mobility and home medical equipment.

· Install and service stairlifts, accessibility equipment, and Personal Emergency Response Systems.

· Train clients and caregivers and document all service and installation work.

Oxygen & Respiratory Equipment

· Service oxygen concentrators and maintain oxygen equipment, tubing, and tank inventory.

· Participate in the required rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours oxygen equipment emergencies,



including assigned evenings and weekends.

Office & Operational Support

· Support phones, front-counter service, databases, billing, vendors, and basic office technology.

· Track vehicle maintenance and assist with safety, emergency readiness, and general facility tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

· Mechanical aptitude and experience with repair, electronics, mobility, or home medical equipment; stairlift experience is an asset.

· Strong customer service, communication, organization, and basic computer skills.

· Comfort using hand and power tools and working independently in homes, workshops, and offices.

· Valid driver's licence, clean driving record, and ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

· Must be available and willing to participate in the required rotating evening and weekend on-call schedule.
