Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Grade 7-8 Math Teacher to inspire and educate students in a dynamic learning setting. Duties

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for Grade 7 mathematics.
- Deliver clear, interactive lessons that cater to varied learning styles, including those with special educational needs or disabilities.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and projects; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and respect among students.
- Utilize technology tools such as Microsoft Office applications and educational software to enhance instruction.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.




- Support students’ individual learning needs through tutoring sessions and personalized instructional strategies.

Experience

- Prior classroom teaching experience, particularly with middle school students or in early childhood education settings.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Experience teaching or tutoring math at the middle school level is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable; strong writing skills are essential for lesson planning and communication.
- Familiarity with computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and educational technology platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management to balance lesson planning, grading, and student engagement activities.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and experience working with diverse learners enhances your candidacy.
