DRM Heavy Duty Towing is an industry leader in heavy truck towing and recovery, the DRM brand has been a staple of professionalism in Western Canada Heavy Towing since 2002. We are currently expanding our fleet and looking to add new team members to our shop to assist with keeping our equipment in top condition and also work on customer's units through the retail side of our shop.

We have open positions for (1) Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic and (1) Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic

Qualifications:

- Journeyman Heavy Mechanic Certificate or Apprenticeship Program Book

- Supply your own hand tools.

- Be able to work independently and in a team atmosphere while helping to keep a positive culture.

- Must have reliable transportation as our shop is not reachable by public transportation.

- Willing to take direction from Management and be responsible for meeting timelines as requested.

- Technician CVIP License would be an asset, alternatively must be able to obtain one upon employment.

- Attention to detail is imperative.

- Most importantly, a positive attitude to enjoy a positive and vibrant workplace!

Job Duties:





- Preform day to day maintenance and repairs on company owned equipment.

- Complete assigned jobs on customer equipment.

- Assist with maintaining proper service records, work orders through Fullbay.

- Maintain diligent parts tracking, both through request / ordering and shop stock.

- Diagnose issues and come up with productive repair plans.

- Repair customer trucks and assist with truck body installation.

- Work as a team to maintain a clean, tidy and efficient shop.

Compensation:

- Journeyman starting at 40.00 Per Hour / Wage Dependent on Qualifications

- Apprentice starting at 25.00 Per Hour / Wage Dependent on Qualifications

- Coveralls Provided

Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week

Experience:

- Heavy Duty Mechanical: 2 years (required)
