Solaris Electric Inc. is looking for motivated and reliable 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Electrical Apprentices and Journeyperson Electricians to join our growing team.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong commitment to safety and quality, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Our projects include commercial, industrial, and service electrical work throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Install and terminate electrical wiring, equipment, panels, devices, and systems.
- Perform conduit installation, wire pulling, cable tray installation, and cable termination.
- Assist with or perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Complete electrical work in accordance with the Alberta Electrical Code and applicable standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements.
- Work effectively with project managers, foremen, apprentices, and other trades.
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and other contractors.
- For Journeypersons: provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to apprentices and junior employees.

Qualifications2nd–4th Year Apprentices
- Registered Alberta Electrical Apprentice.
- Previous commercial, or industrial, electrical experience is an asset.
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and plans.
- Basic understanding of electrical installations and construction practices.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Solid work ethic and positive attitude.




- Ability to work safely and follow direction.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.

Journeyperson Electricians
- Valid Alberta Journeyperson Electrician certification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, troubleshooting, and construction practices.
- Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and lead electrical crews when required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.

- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment.
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated work areas.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in confined or awkward positions for extended periods.
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of electrical construction work.

Pay: $19.00-$39.00 per hour
