309A Licensed Electrician

Pay: $32.00–$37.00 per hour

Milan Executive Consulting Inc. is recruiting on behalf of Solify Canada Inc., a growing energy solutions company, for a 309A Licensed Electrician to join its electrical team.

If you're a licensed electrician looking to expand your experience into solar, battery storage, EV charging, heat pumps, and other emerging electrical technologies, this is an opportunity to do it.

Previous solar experience is not required. Training will be provided.

Solify is looking for a dependable, skilled electrician who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot confidently, and is interested in developing new skills while working on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

What You'll Be Doing

- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial electrical systems
- Complete electrical work associated with solar PV systems, battery storage, EV chargers, heat pumps, HVAC equipment, and other energy systems
- Perform electrical panel work, service upgrades, wiring, conduit, breakers, disconnects, and related installations
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and equipment documentation
- Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Complete installations in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Prepare electrical systems for ESA inspections and assist with correcting deficiencies when required
- Work alongside project managers, apprentices, technicians, subcontractors, and other trades
- Communicate project progress, deficiencies, material requirements,



and site concerns to the project team
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

What We're Looking For

Required:

- Valid Ontario 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Licence
- Residential and/or commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Professional and reliable approach to customers, coworkers, and job sites
- Comfortable working on active construction sites and at heights when required

Experience That Is an Asset Experience in the following is helpful, but not required:

- Solar PV systems
- Battery energy storage systems
- EV charger installations
- Heat pumps and HVAC electrical
- Electrical service upgrades
- Generators
- Residential renovations
- Commercial electrical installations
- Renewable energy systems

Compensation

$32.00–$37.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and technical capabilities.
