Account Management
The Account Supervisor serves as a key day-to-day contact for clients, often leading brand initiatives with a high degree of autonomy.
This person is expected to be a clear thinker and a strong operator. They are known for their positive attitude and approach all challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset. As a mid-level manager, the Account Supervisor act as the glue that holds everything together. They stay on top of the changing business environment, looking for bold new ways to approach marketing communications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Agency Responsibilities: Oversees day-to-day operations across various accounts and with cross functional teams
Client Management: Cultivates and maintains strong client relationships. Liaises with client partners to discuss project execution
People Management: Supervises account team by providing leadership and guidance. Plays an important role in the growth of junior team members
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive and own assigned projects/programs from initiation through to completion
- Review and evaluate projects (copy/layout) to ensure they are consistent with creative brief and client direction, and partner with creative team to develop content/flow when needed
- Effectively filter client feedback and use appropriate agency tools & channels to communicate directions clearly with creative teams
- Be the primary contact with mid-level clients, providing clients with innovative tactical solutions and creative solutions to problems
- Maintain a high level of proficiency with PAAB regulations, helping to anticipate key content challenges and be comfortable leading the submission/review process
- Ensure all internal quality control measures are followed before sharing work with clients,
and that all necessary approvals are secured before final release of assets to production
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions to continue to grow strategic thinking and knowledge
- Leads regular meetings with finance/accounting to ensure proper financial reporting and billing; Supervise AE/AM in fiscal responsibilities
- Lead project scoping and creative staffing forecasts, collaborating with Traffic and department heads to ensure resources are prepared and used efficiently
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively when needed, while engaging your manager where appropriate
- Develops in-depth knowledge of assigned category and stays up to date on relevant brand/category information
- Oversees line reports (AE/AM) and serves as a role model for all direct reports
- Ensure that strategies are being met on multiple on-going campaigns
- Overall fiscal responsibility for budgets, billings, profitability and forecasting
- Provide input into staffing plans, budgets and promotions
- Take an active role in career development for all direct reports, providing mentorship and conducting on-going performance evaluations
- Assist and lead new business initiatives, both organic and net recent growth
- When appropriate, acts as the liaison with other Client or Agency vendors as well as other companies within the IPG Health network
- Take an active role in building a positive agency culture

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Interest in healthcare; understanding of PAAB and ASC regulations
- 3+ years of experience in a client service role in an agency with a focus on Healthcare communications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to keep composure in high-stress situations and resolve tensions on team and with client
- Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to design and deliver presentations
- Experience in multiple integrated campaigns
Maximum $95,000 CAD Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
