Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise in accounting software, data entry, and customer service will drive efficient cash flow management and foster positive relationships with clients.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while developing your skills in bookkeeping, account analysis, and financial services. This is a busy Tire shop, that is growing.

Responsibilities

- Create invoices using proprietary accounting software to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Control flow of Work Orders coming from technicians, check for accuracy in pricing, convert to an invoice and send to customer.
- Follow up on overdue accounts through professional negotiation and effective communication to secure payment while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger by comparing system records with bank statements and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure smooth coordination between receivables and payables processes.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, payment histories,



and correspondence related to accounts receivable activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic training for Tire Technicians for Work Order generation.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with accounting software.
- Robust knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively collect overdue payments while preserving customer relationships.
- Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with clients professionally.
- Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Prior experience in financial services or related fields is preferred but not required.
