Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ALLISON Transmission Rebuilder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for rebuilding, repairing, and restoring transmissions to optimal working condition. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality standards are met, contributing to the reliability and performance of our automotive components.

Responsibilities

- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild transmissions using detailed schematics and blueprints
- Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and machining tools to perform precise repairs
- Read and interpret technical schematics, assembly instructions, and mechanical diagrams
- Use calipers and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet strict specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Utilize forklift equipment safely for moving heavy transmission components




- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Experience

- Proven experience in transmission rebuilding or automotive manufacturing is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining, welding, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Warehouse experience including the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and forklifts
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with manufacturing or automotive repair environments is a plus
