You will gain practical experience working with a variety of tools and equipment, learning the fundamentals of vehicle maintenance and repair. Responsibilities

- Assist senior technicians with routine vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure quality service.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform tasks such as replacing parts, changing fluids, and conducting safety checks.
- Participate in heavy lifting activities required for moving parts and components safely and efficiently.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including tool management and safety compliance.
- Learn to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and repair procedures to enhance your understanding of automotive systems.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to promote a secure working environment.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely completion of service tasks and communicating effectively with team members.
- Complete all relevant internal and OEM training within timelines provided by management.
- Support front desk with drive-through walk-around when required (includes battery test,



tire check, wiper check, exterior photos, VIN and odometer photo, damages photos, and putting on seat and steering wheel covers).
- Replenish supplies as requested by technicians or service manager.
- Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
- Attend training classes and departmental meetings.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Wear appropriate safety gear at all times.
- Assist Parts Department with parts deliveries when required.
- Assist Service Department with customer shuttles when required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with a keen interest in automotive systems and repairs.
- Experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Previous mechanic experience or related training is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately.
- Valuable communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and develop new technical skills through hands-on training.
