Our pharmacy services company is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to perform a wide array of duties that will help us provide the best possible care to our patients. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will perform various pharmacy duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help prepare medications and keep track of inventory. You'll also be responsible for customer service, answering questions and helping customers pick the best medication for their needs.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients and assist them to the pharmacy counter upon their request.
- Provide customers with a variety of information such as prescription pricing, dosage, treatment duration and contraindications.
- Verify identification before dispensing medication to ensure patients are of legal age.




- Maintain inventory of pharmacy supplies to ensure adequate levels at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy and counter areas.
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations.
