The Position

We are seeking an Associate Lawyer with a minimum of three years of civil litigation experience to join our growing practice.

The successful candidate will be comfortable independently managing files, working directly with clients and opposing counsel, and handling matters through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discoveries, motions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials.

Qualifications

- Minimum three years of civil litigation experience
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Experience independently managing litigation files
- Strong drafting, research, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience with discoveries, motions, mediations, and court appearances
- Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Ontario court practice
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines




- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a strong sense of professional responsibility

Experience in commercial litigation, contractual disputes, real estate litigation, mortgage enforcement, creditor remedies, professional negligence, or estate litigation is an asset.
