We’re hiring our first detailer to help run the shop a ground-floor role with real room to grow into paint correction, ceramic coating, PPF, and eventually a lead position as we build out the team.

About the shop

Kelowna Details is a premium vehicle preservation shop detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, PPF, and window tint. We price for the quality we deliver. This isn’t a franchise wash-and-vac operation every vehicle that leaves the bay needs to hold up against the standard our reviews are built on.

What you’ll do

- Handle interior details and disaster cleans start to finish this is the core of the role
- Exterior wash, decontamination, clay bar, and paint prep
- Learn ceramic coating, paint correction, and PPF application as you develop this role is built to grow into those services
- Keep the bay clean, organized, and stocked between jobs
- Do a final quality check on every vehicle before it goes back to the customer
- Communicate directly with customers when needed friendly, straightforward.

What you need
- Experience detailing vehicles, interior work especially
- Comfortable standing, bending, and kneeling for extended stretches this is physical work
- Reliable and self-directed small shop, you’ll often be working independently without someone standing over you*
- Basic chemical handling and safety awareness
- A genuine growth mindset we’re looking for someone to build with long-term, not fill a shift ****

Nice to have
- Prior experience with ceramic coating, paint correction, or PPF
- Comfortable talking to customers and representing the brand

In this role, you will oversee the cleaning, polishing, and overall presentation of our vehicles, ensuring each one meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Oversee daily operations of the detailing department, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control checks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.

Requirements

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong organizational skills to manage workflow efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks required for vehicle detailing.
