We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lot Attendant to join our dealership team. This role is essential in maintaining the appearance and organization of our lot, assisting customers, and supporting daily operations of the service and sales department. Responsibilities
- Handling lot attendant duties
- Cleaning vehicles as needed
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Perform routine lot maintenance, including snow removal during the winter months.
- Keep the dealership’s exterior areas clean and presentable year-round
- Arrange vehicles on the lot to maximize space and maintain a visually appealing layout.
- Keep the lot clean, clear of debris and safe for customers and employees.
- Clear snow from vehicles and pathways during winter.
- Move vehicles between service bays or to the service department for maintenance.
- Assist with picking up or delivering parts to vendors or customers.
- Delivering and picking up vehicles from affiliate businesses.
- Trips to Ontario License Bureaus.
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive industry experience is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of automotive operations is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Proactive and self-sufficient individual
- Excellent communication skills, friendly attitude, and professional appearance
- Valid Class “G” driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed
