Automotive Service Manager

Galaxy Motors is seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure that all automotive repairs and services meet our high standards of quality. Your ability to upsell services and foster a positive relationship with customers will be key to driving the success of our dealership.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the service department staff, including mechanics and service advisors.
- Ensure efficient workflow in the repair shop while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on automotive repair techniques and customer service best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Develop strategies to increase sales through upselling additional services and products.




- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services performed, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the dealership.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or in a similar role within a dealership setting.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of technicians.
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends and best practices is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- PBS Knowledge an asset

Pay

Pay: $72,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
