Auto Electric Service Department | Mid-Level Technician

Auto Electric Service is looking for a skilled, motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Department.

We are looking for a productive, mechanically capable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and can complete common repairs with speed, accuracy, and consistency.

What You'll Do

- Perform brake, steering, and suspension repairs
- Replace shocks, struts, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar links, and other components
- Perform wheel bearing, hub, exhaust, and other bolt-on repairs
- Complete tire services, maintenance, and fluid services
- Perform general mechanical repairs and inspections
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
- Perform road tests to verify repairs
- Follow manufacturer specifications and proper repair procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred
- Automotive Service Technician certification is an asset
- Strong mechanical and repair skills
- Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, and bolt-on components
- Ability to work with speed without compromising quality
- Able to work independently in a busy shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical judgment
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to teamwork
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to continue developing technical skills
