Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles using advanced tools and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues quickly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction by providing transparent communication about repair needs and timelines
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with strong mechanical knowledge
- Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment for repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for automotive
- Experience working with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems is preferred
