Duties

- Diagnose transmission issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
- Remove and install all makes and model transmissions.
- Perform routine maintenance on transmissions and related components to extend vehicle lifespan and improve performance.
- Assemble transmission parts accurately according to manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Conduct heavy lifting of transmission units and related parts safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use automotive repair skills to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions promptly.




- Maintain a clean work space and be able to work respectfully with others

Qualifications

- A minimum of 5 years experience specializing in the removal and installation of automotive transmissions.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and interpret technical manuals.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
- Experience with automotive repair processes including maintenance, troubleshooting, and component replacement.
