Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the espresso machine and other equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment, to ensure a safe and pleasant workplace.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, following all food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.




- Stay informed about menu items and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Barista is required.
- Familiarity with cashiering practices and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
