- Provides ongoing one-on-one intervention with a 10-year-old neurodiverse child at the family’s home in Richmond, BC.
- Implements a comprehensive program, developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that focuses on academic skills, behavioral regulation, and social skills.
- Conducts one-on-one sessions (typically 2 hours in length) focusing on academic assistance, social skills, and executive functioning.
- Reviews lesson plans, notes, and new materials as assigned by Junior Behaviour Consultant.
- Sets up and cleans up work area before and after each session.
- Records session notes, data tracking, and hours worked each session.
- Attends team meetings as requested by the family and Behaviour Consulting team.

Pay:

Hourly Rate:

· Range $22-$25/hour (hourly rate will be determined by previous experience and training)

· Paid as an independent consultant by the client's family (typically requires invoice).

Working hours:

At least two weekday sessions (2.0 hours each session).

Ideal availability: Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday (starting time at 3:30pm or 4:00 PM during academic school year).



Flexibility for earlier start times during school breaks.

Requirements:

- Energetic, communicative, engaging individual who enjoys working with children.
- An individual who comprehends and can exemplify accountability and integrity.Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
- .Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Current criminal record check is required
- .Previous experience helping or supporting neurodiverse children is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is advantageous.
- Knowledge of popular video games, super heroes, action movies is an asset.

Location: Near Ironwood in Richmond, BC.
