Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a BigLaw lawyer to provide specialized legal services on a contract basis. The role involves supporting high-stakes legal matters for corporate clients with complex regulatory and transactional needs. Candidates must have prior experience in high-pressure legal environments typical of BigLaw firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements including contracts, NDAs, and corporate documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide actionable insights to support case strategy and client advisories.
- Assist with due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Represent the client in communications with stakeholders, opposing counsel, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies in all legal deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Active membership in at least one state bar association in good standing is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-law-school legal experience in a BigLaw or equivalent high-level legal setting is required.
- Strong proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or Bloomberg Law is required.
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills to prepare transparent, precise legal documents are required.
