We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bottle Sorter / Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on position involving bottle sorting, customer pickups, loading and unloading, and general warehouse duties.
The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to complete scheduled bottle pickups throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Sort bottles and other recyclable materials according to established guidelines
- Complete scheduled bottle pickups from customers and businesses
- Safely drive company vehicles when completing pickups and deliveries
- Load and unload bottles, bins, bags, and other recyclable materials
- Assist customers during pickups when required
- Perform regular heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Keep sorting, warehouse, and work areas clean and organized
- Work with other team members to maintain an efficient workflow
- Follow all workplace and driving safety procedures
- Perform other general bottle depot duties as required
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence is required
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred
- Comfortable driving for scheduled customer pickups
- Able to perform heavy lifting and physical work throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Solid attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous bottle depot, warehouse, delivery, recycling, or similar experience is an asset but not required
- Training will be provided
