About the Opportunity

Potherb Cannabis Co. is looking to bring on dedicated cannabis retail professionals to support our growing store in Mississauga. We have both a part-time and a full-time position available — successful applicants will be placed based on their availability and how they fit with the current team structure.

This isn't a role where you stand at a register and wait. We're looking for people who take initiative, know their product, and care about making every customer interaction count.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the face of Potherb — greeting customers, building rapport, and delivering a consistently great experience.
- Translate your cannabis knowledge into practical guidance: help customers choose the right product for their situation, whether they're experienced consumers or trying cannabis for the first time.
- Process sales accurately and compliantly using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain merchandising standards — keeping shelves stocked, labels facing, and the floor clean throughout your shift.
- Actively track product updates, regulatory changes, and new industry developments.
- Work as part of a close-knit team focused on hitting shared targets and keeping the store running smoothly.

Requirements

- 19 years of age or older (legally required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.




- Proven ability to communicate clearly and build trust quickly with a wide range of customers.
- Strong working knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, formats, effects, and consumption methods.
- Awareness of applicable Ontario and federal cannabis regulations.
- Background in customer-facing retail is an asset (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Team-oriented with the ability to perform consistently in a quick-moving environment.
- Available to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- CannSell certification required — must be valid prior to first shift.
- Pre-employment background screening is required for all hires.
