What you will be doing:

- Data Governance & Accessibility: Support teams in strengthening data governance and ensuring data accessibility.
- Coordination: Coordinate data publication with data stewards and development teams; participate in internal and external working groups.
- Strategy & Advisory: Advise management on the definition and prioritization of the open data program and the Data Pole; provide advisory support to teams.
- Community Engagement: Animate and mobilize the Data Pole community, addressing user questions and facilitating data reuse.
- Development & Research: Develop data valorization projects, conduct analysis and research, and support leadership in tool elaboration.
- Culture Building: Contribute to the development of a data culture centered on transparency, sharing, and metropolitan-scale collaboration.
- Documentation: Participate in drafting internal training materials and external content for users regarding useful data.

What you must have:

Education

- Bachelor’s degree or academic equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering,



Information Sciences, Geomatics, or a related field.

Experience

- 15+ years of experience in IT.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Demonstrated experience in data governance and data management projects.

Skills

- Experience in internal user requirement gathering.
- Strong capacity to manage internal and external stakeholders to source information and resources.
- Strong aptitude for collaboration, communication, organization, synthesis, and teamwork.

Assets

- Knowledge of open government and open data concepts.
- Knowledge of basic data governance concepts.
- Familiarity with mobilization and collective intelligence approaches.
- Knowledge of the Montreal mobility ecosystem, particularly in public transit.
- Bilingualism.
